How to Order Compatible Aesthetic Machine Accessories

Use the machine label and accessory part number to request the correct replacement.

An accessory can look like the one you need and still belong to a different machine revision. A useful enquiry gives the supplier enough information to check compatibility before quoting.

Start with the machine label

Copy the manufacturer and exact model reference from the equipment label. If the supplier needs the serial number or hardware revision to confirm a match, share it privately. A picture of the machine can help identify the unit, especially when the name on a sales listing differs from the label.

Identify the part you are replacing

Look for a part number in the equipment documentation or on the old accessory. Share a clear photo of the label and connector if it helps distinguish versions. For kits, list the components you actually need so the supplier can clarify whether they come together or are sold individually.

Ask for confirmation on the quote

Request written confirmation that the quoted part is compatible with the exact model and revision you supplied. Check the part number, pack contents and any separate components needed for the agreed replacement. If the original part is unavailable, ask for the replacement reference and the documentation that confirms the match.

Build an enquiry the supplier can verify

Suppose an old handpiece has a faded sticker and you can only read part of its reference. Send the exact machine model, a clear photo of the surviving label and a photo of the connector face. Explain which characters are unclear. If you have an earlier invoice or packing list, check whether it records a full part reference.

When the supplier replies, compare the offered reference with your records. If it differs, ask whether the manufacturer lists it as a replacement and whether the new part comes with every component needed for your existing setup. Record the answer alongside the quote before anyone places the order.

Include these details in your request

  • Manufacturer, exact model and hardware revision if known.
  • Original accessory name and any legible part number.
  • Photos of the accessory, label and connector when useful.
  • Quantity required and the components that need replacing.
  • A request to confirm the offered part number and compatibility in writing.

If your team operates more than one revision of the same machine, keep a separate accessory record for each unit. Label stored spares with the matching equipment reference so the next buyer can identify which stock is intended for which machine.

Keep the part number with the machine's purchase records. It will make the next enquiry quicker and help another staff member order the same item.
